Celebrating PPC, NUS and SCIEX partnership

On 22 November 2017, the Department’s Protein and Proteomics Centre (PPC) and SCIEX jointly organized an event to celebrate their strong partnership since 2002. We were honoured to have the Professor Peter Ho, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Science and Mr Maha Guruswamy, Vice President & General Manager, JAPAC, SCIEX as our guests of honour to witness the special occasion. More than 50 friends and collaborators of both PPC and SCIEX were there to join in the celebration. It was also an opportune time to announce our collaboration and plans to launch the first-of-its-kind proteomics and mass spectrometry training centre in Southeast Asia in 2018. This centre aims to train the next generation of scientists to advance biomedical research and proteomics studies across Asia Pacific.
