DBS E-Engagement Event 2020

Since 2016, the Departments at Faculty of Science (FoS) would host half-day engagement events in April for applicants with admission offers to the FoS. These engagements are well-received and provide an avenue to prospective students to gather in-depth information on the courses offered.
On Friday, 24th April 2020, DBS organised its first-ever department E-Engagement with Talks and Live Chat sessions via Zoom, to further engage prospective students and help them make an informed decision on accepting their admission offer. About 160 potential students participated.
The event was hosted by Dr Amy Choong, Chair of DBS Outreach & Alumni, together with academic advisors from various Life Sciences modules who presented their pre-recorded talks. It was a success.
