The CBIS Light Microscopy Core is pleased to offer a hands-on demo of our Bruker Luxendo InVi SPIM lattice light-sheet microscope in collaboration with Luxendo GmbH and SANE European Imaging Solutions.

The instrument has a wide range of excitation wavelengths and light-sheet illumination patterns for high resolution, deep penetration, large field of view and high-speed imaging. It can handle diverse samples including live cells with incubation, spheroids and small organisms such as fish/drosophila embryos, plant etc.

Dr. Malte Wachsmuth, Luxendo Co-founder & Head of Application, Support and Service will be present, as well as the SANE engineers who set up the CBIS system.

Programme for each session:

– imaging of live cells or zebrafish
– comparison of beam patterns and effects on image
– how to process very large light-sheet datasets
– deconvolution with Huygens software
