Ms Sue Yap is the founder and CEO of the company. Sue Yap is a biologist by training (B. Sc Honours Degree in 1985). She is also an MBA graduate from the National University of Singapore.

With more than 15 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry, she is the driving force behind the company. Under her leadership, Research Biolabs has grown from a startup in 1993 to a fully integrated Life Sciences company with research and diagnostic consumables and instrument distribution, manufacture of custom oligonucleotides, DNA sequencing and other genomic services related consumables manufacturing and Life Sciences services as its key areas of business. She has also made her mark and contributions in sports from her student days.
