UK Agri-Tech Centres & Cranfield University Meeting

SUrF is delighted to host a visit with delegates from the established UK Agri-Tech Centres, Crop Health and Protection UK (CHAP) and  Agri-EPI Centre, as well as Cranfield University on 27 October 2022.

CHAP and Agri-EPI are among the four UK Agri-Tech Centres that aim to bridge the gap between industry and academia in various disciplines pertinent to Agri-Tech, including crop sciences, engineering and technology. These centres work closely with Cranfield University, with both centres operating in state-of the art facilities within the University to facilitate agricultural research.

The session served as an introductory meeting for the four centres to introduce their capabilities and efforts in the Agri-Tech field. Possible international collaboration opportunities in the areas of Agri-Tech, including urban farming and aquaculture were also discussed.
