Amid challenging times due to the global pandemic, the NUS Amgen Scholars Program 2022 saw 22 scholars from different regions spent their summer, working intensively for 2-months on exciting projects with leading teams of researchers from the department of Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology & Immunology, Pharmacology, and Physiology, here at the National University of Singapore.
The symposium marks the end of this year’s Amgen Scholars Program where students get to share their work to fellow Amgen scholars from Kyoto University, the University of Tokyo and Tsinghua University. This year a hybrid symposium was organized to connect the NUS Amgen Scholars virtually with the other three host institutions, and featured guest lectures, student talks and e-poster presentations.
