CBIS has been founded with the intent to provide state-of-the-art imaging and in particular bioimaging expertise. We have in the past interacted with many local and international research institutes and universities and have pursued industrial collaborations. Network of European Bioimage Analysts

We ensure that our facility staff are at the forefront of their field by providing them with workshop and conference opportunities, e.g. in the context of NEUBIAS, the Network of European Bioimaging Analysts, that organizes regular courses and conferences around bioimaging. 

SingaScope

a Singapore-wide microscopy infrastructure network

CBIS is a member of SingaScope, a Singapore-wide microscopy infrastructure network, that brings together Singapore’s leading microscopy platforms to enable access to excellent instrumentation and expertise for Singapore’s research community.

SingaScope combines the A*STAR Microscopy Platform with platforms at the Mechanobiology Institute (MBI) and Centre for Bioimaging Sciences (CBIS) in NUS, the Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering (SCELSE) at NTU, and SingHealth.
