DBS NMR Facility

800 MHz NMR (Bruker Avance Neo), DBS/NUS

Our 800 MHz Avance Neo Spectrometer is the highest field and most modern instrument in Singapore and Asean. It is equipped with a Bruker TXI cryoprobe that provides about a 4:1 Signal-to-Noise improvement over conventional probes (S/N ration for 1H is 8800:1).

It is highly suited for metabolomic studies, the study of complex biomolecules like proteins and nucleic acids, Fragment-based screening for new drug discovery and routine 1H and 13C NMR experiments on small molecules. Our NMR facility serves DBS and NUS research community and external research institutes with flexible collaborations.
