SUrF Founding Workshop

SUrF research center officially launched on 5 August 2022, with Mr Lim Kok Thai, the CEO of Singapore Food Agency (SFA) as the guest of honour. The event featured a welcome address by NUS President Prof. Tan Eng Chye, as well as technical talks by professors from the Department of Biological Sciences and Food Science and Technology, who will play a pivotal role in the sustainable urban farming research at SUrF. Apart from the academics, the workshop also highlighted the industrial relevance of SUrF, with speakers from industrial partners, Greenology and Singrow.
