I focus on anemone toxins. In my previous project, I used the tentacle transcriptome and proteome to create a venome profile and identify novel toxins in two species of sea anemones. Currently, I'm working on synthesizing and characterizing toxin peptides which have homology with potassium channel toxins. Additionally, I have a blog where I provide a basic introduction to anemones and their toxins.
